2012 Film
We partnered with the Sundance Institute to create this short film to celebrate the hard work of the volunteers at the 2012 Film Festival. Written by Kenneth Cole Productions and directed by Ricki Stern and Annie Sundberg of Break Thru Films (directors of the documentaries Knuckleball! and Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work), the piece stars Derek Waters, the writer and creator of Comedy Central's "Drunk History". The film debuted on Volunteer Appreciation Day at all film screenings and theaters at the Festival. Signage featuring a QR code enabled people to watch the vignette on their mobile devices and reminded them to thank the volunteers for their tireless efforts.
